Malkit “Mona” Singh, MD

Malkit “Mona” Singh, MD, is an assistant professor at the WVU Eye Institute. She specializes in the surgical and the medical treatment of diseases and conditions that affect structures in the retina and the vitreous. Dr. Singh received her medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She received her Master of Public Administration degree from the Harvard Kennedy School. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Utah and Affiliated Hospitals in Salt Lake City and her postdoctoral fellowship at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah. Dr. Singh then completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch and Houston Methodist Hospital, followed by a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Lahey Clinic and Medical Center in Boston.
