Every October, the Pink and Pearl campaign unites two important causes—breast cancer awareness (pink) and lung cancer awareness (pearl). The goal is simple, but powerful: to shine a light on the importance of early detection and treatment for both cancers.

Why it Matters
- Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. When caught early, the five-year survival rate is 99%.
- Lung cancer is the second most common cancer in both men and women. It’s also the leading cause of cancer deaths.
The Power of Screening
Screenings save lives. Mammograms and low-dose CT scans can catch cancer before symptoms appear, giving patients the best chance at effective treatment. A low-dose CT scan involves an X-ray screening with low doses of radiation to capture detailed images of the lungs. Early detection often means more treatment options and a much higher chance of survival.
You may be eligible for a complimentary low-dose CT scan if you:
- Are between the ages of 50 and 80
- Have a 20+ pack-year smoking history
- Currently smoke
- Quit smoking in the last 15 years
