Daniel D. Sutphin, MD, specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery, comes to United Hospital Center from Yuma Regional Medical Center, Yuma, AZ. He began his education with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Carson Newman College, Jefferson City, TN. He earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis, TN.

His internship in surgery was at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN, followed by a residency in surgery at the same center where he was the chief administrative resident. He completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, TN, followed by a fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, CA, where he was a microsurgical fellow and clinical instructor in the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Sutphin continued his education by earning a master’s of allied leadership and management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University and a master’s degree in legal studies/dispute resolution from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law.

He has extensive experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, holds several professional certifications, and has been active in research, presentations, and publications.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Sutphin joins UHC Plastic Surgery, located at 527 Medical Park Drive, Suite 203, in Bridgeport, WV.
