Sahil K. Virdi, MD

Sahil K. Virdi, MD, earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in Patiala, India. He completed both his internal medicine residency and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Virdi has extensive training, and he has given numerous lectures and presentations relating to his field. He actively participates in medical research focusing on biopsy of lung nodules. While working in Miami, he explored pathogenesis of recurrent Type 1 Diabetes in pancreatic transplant patients, which illustrates the diversity of his interest. During his post-graduate training in pulmonary and critical care medicine, he received a Teaching Fellow of the Year award.
He is board certified in both pulmonary medicine and internal medicine. He enjoys meditation, painting, photography, and cooking.
