Brandon Shiflett, MD, is a native of Beckley, WV. He completed two master’s degrees from Marshall University — a Master of Science in Biomedical Science and a Master of Business Administration. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Marshall University and took his residency in Internal Medicine in Huntington.

Dr. Shiflett is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the specialties of pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. His Pulmonology/Critical Care fellowship was at West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown, where he was the Outstanding Fellow of the Year.

He has been an assistant professor of Internal Medicine at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and holds board certification in the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He also belongs to the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, and several state groups. Additionally, he has been an active presenter at medical conferences and has served on numerous committees for medical organizations.

Dr. Shiflett resides in Fairmont with his wife. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and DIY home projects.
