Keith Alan Niggemyer

Keith Alan Niggemyer, MD, FCCP is a native of Moundsville, WV. He is a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit College and received his medical degree from the WVU School of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. His specialty training included fellowships in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).

Dr. Niggemyer’s clinical interests involve a wide range of pulmonary and sleep conditions including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease (ILD), lung cancer, and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). He is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine.

Prior to joining UHC he practiced for nearly 18 years in Pittsburgh, PA in affiliation with UPMC. He was named to Pittsburgh Magazine’s Annual “Top Doctors” List on multiple occasions, a distinction that is peer rated. He also received an Excellence in Patient Experience Award, ranking in the top 99.5 percentile nationally.

Dr. Niggemyer and his family are pleased to make North Central West Virginia their home. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, mountain biking, and boating.
